e-invoicing in Spain

Spain has required e-invoicing for public sector suppliers since 2015 for contracts above EU procurement value thresholds, with B2G invoices submitted via FACe (the central government platform) or equivalent regional systems. B2B e-invoicing is set to become mandatory under the Crea y Crece law: first for companies with annual turnover above €8 million, then for all others — rollout is expected from 2027 at the earliest.

Maventa’s support for Spain has not yet been decided. This page will be updated with detailed documentation once the service scope and timeline are confirmed.
