> **Update:** Lithuanian (LT) company registration is **not yet fully supported** and has been postponed. Registration via REST and SOAP APIs is currently disabled while we complete integration with Lithuanian business registries. The information below describes the originally planned functionality and will apply once full support is available.

The changes enable support for registering Lithuanian companies using LT:LEC identification numbers through both REST and SOAP APIs. This expands Maventa's coverage to include Lithuania as a supported country for company registration.

## API Changes

- Company registration endpoints now accept `LT` as a valid country
  - Param `country` in [SOAP API](https://documentation-stage.maventa.com/soap-api/#registerwithpassword)
  - Param `country` in [REST API](https://swagger.maventa.com/#/companies/postV1Companies)

## Supported Features

- Full VAT number validation using both internal format checking and external VIES verification

## Integration Requirements

When registering Lithuanian companies, integrators must use **LT:LEC** as the business identifier (bid).

The implementation ensures that Lithuanian companies can be registered with the same validation standards and reliability as other supported EU countries.
